How big is hipages?
In the year to 30 June 2026, hipages reported 36.4k subscription businesses across Australia and New Zealand, 33.0k of them in Australia. Across the group it reported 1,364k jobs and 2,719k business-household connections.
What did hipages agree with the ACCC?
hipages' 2023 Annual Report says its Australian subscriptions include an auto-renew feature, and that in May it entered into an undertaking with the ACCC.
The report says it then improved its onboarding and renewal processes, including more auto renewal communications and a cooling-off period of seven days. Its pricing page now lists a seven day cooling-off period, provided you haven't accepted any leads.
Which model suits which roofer?
They're built differently. On a credit plan you get invitations and choose which ones to spend credits on, knowing up to two other businesses can claim the same job.
With us, you see the jobs in your area and pay per job, and once you take one, no other roofer gets that homeowner's details. Which suits you depends on how many jobs you want, how you like to win them, and what each won job ends up costing you.
How we'd compare them
Work out your cost per job won for every source of work you use: what you spent in a month, divided by the jobs you actually won from it. That number tells you more than any comparison page, this one included.
