What's set, and how does it work?
| Short answer | Detail | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees each job | Local roofers | Roofers who cover the area see the job, the suburb and the homeowner's first name, never their phone or email |
| Licence and insurance check | Before your first job | Licence on the state register, and public liability cover of at least $10 million |
| Homeowner consent | Recorded with each job | The words they agreed to, and when they sent the form |
| Where | All of Australia | Every area is open to apply for |
| Homeowner contact details | One roofer, never sold | Only the first roofer to take the job gets them, and we don't sell them to anyone |
| How you pay | Per job | We go through the price and billing on a call before you sign |
| Your own area | Talked through on a call | Along with the areas you cover and the jobs you take |
| Bad leads | Tell us and we review it | Such as a fake number, or a job that isn't roofing work |
| Contract length | Talked through on a call | Before anything is signed |
| If nobody local takes a job | After 48 hours | Roofers elsewhere in the state may see it |
Our take
Read the bad-lead rules as closely as the price, with us or with anyone else. A cheap lead with no way to dispute a wrong number can end up costing more than a dearer one with clear rules.
