How do you apply?
Email info@blufire.com.au with your licence or registration number, a current public liability certificate, your ABN, the areas you cover and the jobs you take. There's no online form, so that email is your application.
What should you have ready?
- Your business name and ABN
- Your licence or registration number, and the class of work it covers
- A current public liability insurance certificate showing at least $10 million of cover
- The postcodes you'll travel to
- The roofing jobs you take on, and the ones you don't
- For each kind of job you want, photos plus an address or invoice for three of those jobs from the last 12 months
- The mobile and email you'd like us to reach you on
What happens after you apply?
We check your licence
On your state's public register: that it's current, that it covers the work you do, and that it matches your business details.
We look at your insurance
Your public liability certificate, including whose name it's in and when it expires.
We get in touch
To talk through your areas, the jobs you want and the ones you'd rather skip.
We agree terms
We take you through the price per job, how areas work and the contract length. Nothing is signed until you've heard all three and said yes.
Jobs start
We set you up with access to your jobs in Blufire's lead system. From then on you'll see jobs in the areas you cover and can take the ones you want.
How long does it take?
We aim to reply to your email within two business days. A licence that's easy to find on the register, and an insurance certificate in the same name as your business, make the checks quicker.
Who isn't a fit?
If your licence has lapsed, or you can't show current public liability insurance, we can't pass you jobs. That isn't negotiable, because we tell homeowners every roofer we use has been checked.
We also look at complaints homeowners make after a job, and we'll talk to you about any that come in.
Before you apply
Check that the name on your insurance certificate matches the name on your licence and ABN. If they don't line up, sort it out with your broker first, because it's the first thing we'll ask about.
